My Grandfather is the soul of this family 

Eighty-one years along in his life. 

Living alone at the top of his mountain 

Tending his gardens, where no one can find him 

Planting his flowers, one at a time. 

Taking a stroll I stumble upon him. 

Back bent and weary, crouching in pain. 

And looking around, I notice his treasure 

Beautiful gardens, just his hand behind them 

Flowing with flowers and blossoming vines 

I cannot say but I feel that his life is gone
