Michael Card. In the early morning mist. They saw a Stranger on the sea shore. He some how seemed familiar. Asking what the night had brought. With taught anticipation then.
Michael Card. The seers and the prophets had foretold it long ago. That the long awaited one would make men stumble. But they were looking for a king to conquer and to kill.
Michael Card. Seems the sorrow untold, as you look down the road. At the clamoring crowd drawing near. Feel the heat of the day, as you look down the way.
Michael Card. John 1:1. In the beginning was the word. And the Word was with God. And the Word was God. And the Word became flesh. And the Word became flesh.
Michael Card. That old man in the temple. Waiting in the court. Waiting for the answer to a promise. And all at once he sees them. In the morning sunshine.

Michael Card. Saved by His death, healed by His pain. Raised to new life to never die again. Before you can have the hope of the call. You've got to give it all.
Michael Card. Ephesians 1:9. When I consider the secret of the One. Who dwells in me. That there is truly a presence. In the heart that will believe. To listen to a silent call.
Michael Card. You are the Light of the World oh Lord. You make Your servants shine. So how could there be any darkness in me. If You are the Light of the World.
Michael Card. (Philippians 3:10). Echo of history. A light so many strain to see. The One we talk so much about. But rarely ever live it out. Could You tell me why.
